Isabell Meyer-Nowack - qualified sinologist and economist - has been involved with China and the Chinese language for twenty years. In 1995 she completed her studies in Sinology (Chinese Language and Literature) and Economics including East Asian Economics (Ruhr-University Bochum, FuYen University Taipei, Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales, Paris). Having gathered professional experience in real estate and project development she became a self employed consultant in 2003 and received the Woman's Business Award of North-Rhine Westphalia.

In her firm ConChina Isabell Meyer-Nowack works for international companies as a consultant and coach and has teaching contracts for Mandarin and International Management.
